Happy New Year!!!

Wow, okay have I been gone a while.  I know my resolution was to do this more.  Then Christmas hit and WHAM! Busy city!  HERE I AM 🙂 I am happy to say that this past Saturday we celebrated our final Christmas for 2015, or the first for 2016, however you want to look at it.  I have a lot of awesome things I want to share this year from new recipes and organization tricks I have tried.  It is going to be a fun year and I am going to try really hard to make this the best year ever.  We are going to try to keep up with all we have going on and keep you interested in our fun activities along the way.

Kameron is very excited for his birthday.  We have a few months but every time we meet someone, even at the doctors office, he will say “you are invited to my party, everyone is invited to my party!”  I better start saving now.  He is also very excited to start Kindergarten  Every day before school ” Mom, am I going to Kindergarten today?!”

MaKenzie is getting big.  She is rolling and scooting all over the house.  Nothing is safe when she is awake and free.  She is close to army crawling and boy is she excited about that.  She realizes she can rotate with your roll to move so we will see if she decides to crawl.  She loves eating and is such a happy baby, except when she gets teeth, then she is the devil in a pink little dress.

Both kids are just getting over (please God let them be getting over) being sick.  If you are a parents of children you know this stage.  No sleep in a week.  One kids just gave it to the other, again, and all the while you are thinking “if i find that punky kid with the runny nose that gave this to him at school I swear I will steal his snack”. I know we should be happy as our children have always been relatively healthy.  Kameron didn’t even have this first ear infection until he was maybe 1.  MaKenzie, knock on wood, hasn’t had one yet either.  Right now she is just battling a runny nose and a small cough with a light fever.  Kameron on the other hand sounds like he smokes 2 packs a day and wants to show you what the insides of his lungs look like.

My husband is amazing.  Besides our sick children we are having issues with sleeping due to a loud boiler room.  What a headache.  Our land lord and a team of heating/cooling guys cannot figure it out.  We haven’t been able to sleep due to the noise.  in months.  So yesterday he tricked me into taking a nap.  Boy I must have needed it.  It gave me the energy to write again.  Lucky all of you.  I have a few awesome, or at least I like to think they are, organization ideas that we have started in our home and maybe they will help you?  We have had some great recipes we have been trying.  You are about to take a ride in our boring but loving none the less world. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!
